can't access gmail

I am not sure what I did, I think I updated firefox to 28 and now whenever I go to any of my book marks I get:

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect securely to accounts.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Even my gmail!

I can't add "exceptions" to access gmail, like I can for other sites(not facebook either)
oh crud, what did I do and more importantly, how do I fix it?

 

Hey watchntv, try going to the Menu in Firefox, click Help, then click on Troubleshooting Information, then on the right side click Rest Firefox, remove everything then go to your gmail and login and create a new bookmark, that's what I had to do and it worked. Good luck.

 

Check if the date and time on your pc is correct, if not correct it. Wrong PC date could cause this.

 

when I go to gmail all I get is this which means I can't even add it as an exception

Did you do as Blujay seggested?
Also, under Options > Advanced > Network tab > Settings button, brings you to "Configure Proxies to Access the Internet" tick "No Proxy", "OK" your way out. Only other thing I can suggest is:
"This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do | Firefox Help.

 

I have to erase all my bookmarks?

I did what you said,(didnt earse all bookmarks)
open google,went to gmail, STILL WOULD NOT LET ME GET EMAIL via gmail

 

2 days ago I went to cnet and downloaded a youtube grabber cause I wanted a song for my mp3 collection,
Otherwise< I don't go anywhere "bad", so I dont know what i did

I recall having to update firefox and I had to several steps like I had to do when I went to reset firefox

since I tried that and it didnw work, I restored a point and now it works
