I have checked my PC for malware and none was detected.

Problem is I can access any website except www.google.com

Tried Pinging and site is not found.
Tried Tracert and it can't resolve the name.

Tried Firefox, IE and Chrome all don't work.

Tried using googles IP address to reach site. No Luck.

Checked Hosts file, only 127.0.0.1 is in it.

    Reset firewall, removed antivirus software.

    Tried reloading NIC driver.

    Tried www.google.co.uk No Luck.

    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance...

Have you tried tracert using the ip address?

Can you be more specific? Don't work can be a number of things.
Do you get any errors or messages?

have you tried flushing your dns cache? Maybe your cache has a different ip for google?

    > ipconfig /flushdns

Tried those too. By don't work for browsers I mean I get Page Can't be Found types of errors. I tried even changing my DNS settings to googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Basically no matter how I go about it my PC can't find Google.

For some odd reason Google seems to have a problem with AES encryption on wireless routers. Try changing your router to TKIP and see if you can get to Google after that (reboots of modem/router/computer may be needed).

I've tried the PC on a few different connections, one a cable connection and one a DSL connection. No Google.

OK. I hear you on checking while not using wireless, but do other computers using the same connections you tried using a wired connection have no problems reaching Google? When you tried the wired connection was it through the same ISP as the wireless connection?

Did the ipconfig flush that was suggested not work?

Start>Run and type cmd in the Run box and press <enter>

At the prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns"

A message will be returned. What does it say?

If flushing was successful, try Google again. If flushing was not successful, I suggest running a couple scans: SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware to make sure no baddies are causing the problem. Download them from MG, check for and obtain updates and run Quick Scans for each program. If anything suspicious (other than tracking cookies) is found in the Quick Scans run Full Scans with both progams. Tell us how that went.

What OS are you running? Has this computer not been rebooted in a while?
