Cant access IE

I can only access the internet through Verizon home page, I get a microsoft error trying to access the way I always did by clicking IE shortcut. I ran adaware and spybot in safe mode had Heretofind and Spad on machine Adaware fixed them but i still cant access.any help?

 

Microsoft IE has encountered a problem and needs to close. Am running ME

 

I am at home now, will try again at work tomorrow, I did everything but run microtrends and symantec couldnt see how to be in safemode with access to internet, removed several things but still same problem, its like IE is defective.

 

I did exactly as the "Read Me Thread" said, I now have IE back. But I have "hertofind" again, had it about a month ago this time i cant seem to get rid of it.

To save your log, run HJT and hit scan.. then hit save log (the scan button changes to this).. then give it a name and a location. Next post you make attach the file.

It keeps saying invalid file type C:\My Documents\Hijack\hijackthis.logtext

 

the extension must be .txt and nothing more.
