Cant access website

    Hi Guys,

    First time poster so bear with me.

    Long story short, I own a website Op Morale and I have been working on it the past 2 weeks.

    Yesterday evening I logged out, turned off my computer and went to bed. When i got up this morning and tried to access my site or even log into my Control Panel i got the following message:-

    www.opmorale.co.uk is unavailable or may not exist.

    which i thought was a little odd, so i tried on my laptop.. it worked, tried on my phone, it worked. Asked a friend.. His worked.

    It only doesnt work on my PC :cry

    I cant for the life of my figure it out.

    I have reset the Router
    Cleared my Cache
    Restarted the PC
    tried IE, Chrome and FF

    The above mentioned Laptop and Phone connect to the same wireless as the PC.

    So any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello Sean,

    Firstly this isn't a problem with your computer, don't panic! I once had the same issue with my website but luckily it wore off after 2 days. I understand how frustraiting it can be, as I couldn't even connect via dreamweaver!

    I do know that if you constantly connect or visit a website, it can sometimes trigger something which blocks you. I didn't really look into a solution as such. I could access it through a proxy website however; can you? www.hidemyass.com.

    Hi and welcome....there is no such website that exists with the address you listed. Are you sure you have it right?

    The address http://www.opmorale.co.uk/ is correct and accessible. ;)

    If I click on that link, I get: Sorry, the website www.opmorale.co.uk cannot be found

    If I do a search nothing comes up either....weird.:confused

    cipher...I've tried different browsers and still nothing comes up for me...again, even if I do a search on it, the site isn't listed in the results on 3 different search engines, so its not just the OP.

    Thats good to know, It sounds possible that there is some kind of spam block on it that i am unaware of. I have tried hidemyass and it didnt work, but i tried another,.. screenwasher or something along them lines and it did work.

    Just checked it again and all is good.

    This is highly random, but i can see it now so I will consider this question CLOSED.

    Are you folks by any chance use any antispyware software that adds sites to the hosts file, ala spybot? Maybe this domain is being blocked there.
