    Hi,
My computer uses yahoo.de as the search engine when I search from my address box in IE10 using Win 8.0. I looked in the regedit and the URL is yahoo.de. How can I switch it to Google? I also can't add Google using the normal method, Bing is the only search provider. When I go to the add-on page and click on add Google Search nothing happens. I tried the US/GB/AU sites without luck.

    Thanks

I ran MBAM and Junkware remover which cleaned out some other search hijackers before I made the original post.

    Go to tools>manage add-ons>search providers.

Scroll down to "Find more search providers" and enter your choice and make that default.

Right Click any in box you don't want and Remove.

    I said in my post
"When I go to the add-on page and click on add Google Search nothing happens. I tried the US/GB/AU sites without luck."
If the normal procedure was working I would not be here, but thanks anyway.:confused
