Can't clean cookies anymore.

    I have always been able to clean out my cookies in order to keep reading newspapers like the National Post in Canada and the UK's The Independent, but for some reason that ability has ceased. Cleaning up using the tools in IE9, or Advanced System Care, has no effect any more.

    Is there a trick to removing cookies? Ideally without removing History.

    Windows 7 home premium and IE9.

    That worked, thanks. If you have time, do we know why IE won't clean itself up, or why Advanced System Care won't do the job?

    Sorry have not used IE in many years except for updates! Advanced advice though there is a registry cleaner in Ccleaner I advise against "any and all" cleaners they "can" cause irreparable damage.

    Hi Mr P

    On the issue of IE no cleaning up after itself, then first thought is are you logged in as Admin of the Win 7 PC or just a user, it really should not matter either way but just checking.

    ASC don't know but check if an update is needed, or right click it and run as Administrator and see if that works.
