I just bought a HDMI cable. I have an output for HDMI on my PC and on my comcast HD box. Of course my TV is connected to my comcast HD box, and the HDMI cable is connected to my PC and comcast HD box. Anyway, on my computer I went to Display Settings - Properties - and checked off 'Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor' and it doesn't work. I can't get my computer screen to show up on my TV. What do I need to do?

    Hi

Try reducing the resolution of monitor 2 if mentioned in your Display Settings as your TV may not be able to handle what the main monitor can.

What is your Windows version and what is the model and make of graphic card you have?

Can you not connect directly to the TV?

It’s already on the lowest possible settings. On Monitor 2, it’s on 640 by 480 pixels and Low 8 bit quality. I have Windows XP Home Edition.
    My Graphics Card:
    ATI Radeon HD 4200

Nevermind. I'm buying a DVI/HDMI cable and I'll come back on here and post a question if I need help.
