Can't connect to microsoft.com and related webpages

    I just purchased a PC today and right out of the box I started having problems. I couldn't connect (I'll get timeout error) to microsoft.com or websites that are affiliated with them (msn.com,bungie.net,etc). I'm not sure why these websites won't load but others will.

    I'm running Windows Vista Home Edition, and as I said it came right out of the box. Any input would be nice.
