cant connect

    my nephew has a computer that is hooked up on dsl but it will not connect to internet , he has the ehternet cable run thru a wireless router then back to his desktop , he runs his laptop on wireless and it works fine , I am sure it is some setting that needs to be changed but so many people have fooled with it I dont know where to start any help would be appreciated

    Does he have a firewall blocking his connection?

    Have you tried taking out the cables then putting them back in?
