Cant copy large files over network

Im running Windows XP and I cant copy large files over network. If I copy a file with the size of about 4gb windows says there arent enough room even though there are over 30 gb free space. I have already disabled whatever I could find which reserves hd space but it didnt help.
I could really use some quick answers to this problem.
Any help would be apreciated.

 

The clipboard may not hold that much space.

 

I use an FTP program such as wsftp because if it does work it is really slooooooow. WSftp is much faster and I have had no trouble.

 

I dont have access to setup an ftp server on the other computers, beside they dont have any problems copying the same large files. I really appreciate it, but Im not looking for other ways to copy files, only a way to solve this problem.

 

Just an Idea, email to yourself,,,if you have a email box online throuh your ISP that is over 4mgs you should upload them to your email account your ISP will store the file for you now recieve your email,,,from each computer !!! Hope this helps , Glenn

Umm, that's 4 GIGs he's looking to move. The time it would take to email, you could burn it to CD and carry it across the room, and still be hours ahead.

 

easy answer !!!,,,dosen't sound like he has burner, and if on adsl or cable email is swift,,,Glenn
