Can't delete remnants of AVG.

I have remnants of AVG 8.0 (approx 47Mb) that I can't delete and this is stopping me installing the 2011 free edition. Can someone please help? The AVG 8.0 is visible in Add/Remove Programs but will not delete from there.:crybaby

Read the warning on that page.

If that doesn't work there's also Appremover: http://majorgeeks.com/AppRemover_d6090.html

Another one is Revo Uninstaller: http://majorgeeks.com/Revo_Uninstaller_d5706.html

If all of the above fail, get the free trial of Revo Uninstaller and take it from there.

Perhaps you'll have to reinstall that stubborn version of AVG to have it afterwards removed completely by using the above software.
