can't download .com

    Downloading or updating any .com programs transfer at a speed of 7 mbps. While .net and.org go at 22 mbps. Some screens load appropriately, then the next (from the same site) is unable to load at all. Geek Squad ran every adware, HiJack, virus, spy scans etc. and nothing. I have a new modem, internet provider says bootback test is fine. Gateway says interface card is OK. Ideas please as no one can help me!::banghead
