not to long ago my computer stoped working i lost video signal and then it would no longer boot, so i sent my mobo to intel and they replaced it when i got it back i got a new cpu (pins on the other got bent) i got one off of ebay that was said to be working.
i finally got around to building my computer back up with a new mobo and "good" cpu and i still have no video signal. i tested it with another monitor, i thought it was my video card. well today i went out and spent 250$ on a video card came home put it all together and i get no video.
i dont know what is going on with this thing it all seems to be working i just get no display on my monitor

    i have
    Intel D865PERL Mobo
    Intel P4 Socket 478 3.0 GHZ
    Ultra 500W PSU
    4 Corrsair value select 512 PC3200
    BFG 7800GS AGP

    what could be the problem

    thanks,
    clayton

    I would start from beginning.
One stick of ram - no video card, and see if you get the magic beeps.(1 - or, 3 quick beeps, or a series of beeps.)
If so then connect video card, and see what beeps you get.Don't connect cd/dvd roms, yet.
Come back and let us know.

I was looking for beeps, but that's good news.
Check temperatures in bios, or, with Everest 220 (download from majorgeeks, if you don't have it.

my temp are like 118*F at idle
    and 145-150*F at load

do you think thats to hot?

my old 2.8 used to run a like 92*F idle and l05-110*F under load
