Can't find driver for my HP computer. Please help.

I looked for the driver online using the info in the "sticky" in this driver section, but couldn't find it. I went to the HP website and they had jack for what I was looking for.

I need a USB driver for my HP d530 CMT (DG0614). Anyone know where I can get this driver?

 

Their search engine isn't exactly very versatile, but I searched by getting rid of some of the letters from the name, and what produced the results was searching "d530 " (at least I think that's what it was)

Thank you for the help but I've been through all that and didn't find the USB driver. It doesn't have just a normal USB driver only drivers for Bluetooth USB and a USB fix for some windows problem.

 

When I try and update the driver it looks for the file 'usbehci.sys'. It looks for the file in C:\windows\temp but it's not there. I've tried putting in my windows CD to get the driver that way but that doesn't work. I've searched my entire computer for that file and it's not there.

I guess I shouldn't have cleaned out my temp files after installing window.

PS - I didn't get his computer new. It didn't come with the drivers CD and that's why I'm having a problem finding the USB drivers. I found the audio and ethernet drivers on the HP site no problem but not the USB one. I only have service pack 1 on the computer I'm trying to get the drivers for. I just thought I'd mention it. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

 

Never mind. I found it doing a google search on usbehci.sys.

hi,theres a site called download magic,which does a scan and gives you an opption to reinstall the lot or pick out what you need,its not free ,20 or twentyfive dollars i thk,i used it on my hp,very professional site,i thk it includes usb drivers if your comp nnds them,it checks it all anyway,may be worth a try.i used it for my chipset
