It is a "Green" Drive therefor it has a lower rated RPM of 5,400.

Have a look at the Samsung F3's they seem to be the best performing drives at the moment while still having relatively low costs.

:EDIT Satrow beat me to it ;)

I've just got a 2TB WD Green Drive as a back up. Between three SATA's @1TB together and one 40GB SSD I should be just fine.;):-D

    J8son,

What will the new drive be used for? If a system drive, best drive is a Western Digital Black Caviar, as they are the most reliable (and have 7200 RPM speed).
