do you get any error messages or anything that tells you why it wont install?

Do you have SpywareBlaster and if so do you have it set to block Macromedia Flash?

me more info you can give as to what you have done and any messages will help quickly diagnose why it wont install/play

Flash Install Settings Check these settings to see if yours are correct, also make sure if you install the stand-alone full version that all browser windows are closed before install.

Check your settings on the Yahoo Toolbar w/Anti-Spy, it includes features like Pop-Up Blocker and other things that might be causing the problem. I would disable them all and see if that helps.

As Steve said above check the yahoo toolbar to see if its blocking ActiveX ( that can stop the warning box from showing up ).

Also are you upto date with all XP updates?

Are you logged on as Admin?

Check your Add/Remove list for any signs of Flash Player if so use this to remove it http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157 then try to see if the standalone version I linked you to earlier installs ( but remember to close all open IE windows )

What Interent Utilities do you have? If Norton Internet turn it off before trying to install as its known to block installs... also maybe worth turning off your Firewall.
