did a registry clean with regseeker and after rebooting couldn't get back into my computer (even safe mode).
only thing i can do is boot off my xp cd (slipstreamed with sp2) to try to repair the c:/windows partition, but don't know where to go from through.
i typed chkdsk, but that didn't do anything.
    any suggestions?
    thanks

Are you saying that you DID a repair installation of XP?

Or, that you went in recovery console and ran a chkdsk?

Is this installation a slipstreamed XP sp2? Or was it a sp1 then upgraded to sp2?

Do you need instructions on HOW to run a REPAID installation of XP?
