Can't get into windows

    When starting my computer in normal or safe mode i get this message "unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted. Error 1816. Not enough quota to process this command". I've tried everything I know but I'm lost. Can't get passed message. Running windows xp sp3. Help

    Joe has the right idea.
    Have you tried safe mode?

    so normal and safe mode was tried.

    Have you tried last known good configuration?

    Yup, there are enough people who need help and actually respond so I tend to avoid anyone who shows a pattern of asking for help and never offers any feedback.

    I also avoid people who post the same cry for help at multiple sites. That usually shows up when I google the symptoms.
    Stick to one site and if no one responds in 2 days, then post at another site.
