Running Windows XP on my Panasonic toughbook. While logged on I ran msconfig and selected safe mode to scan and remove a suspected virus. As windows booted up it asks for a password, after I enter my password It won't log me on. It does not recognize any of my logins. I hit F8 during the bootup to enter the setup utility and try to select "boot windows normally" but it keeps coming back in safe mode and I can't log on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Power down, unplug hard drive, plug back in, try again.

This should reset the connection to your hard drive which should let you get past that option.
