Can't get rid of loggon screen

Hello,

Recently I bought a fairly new computer that has a loggon scree pressent. I think I need to makr a boot disk to wipr the disk clean and install a new os. The problem is that my new computer has no floppy drive, only a cdrom drive, and I'm at a loss as to how to make a bootable cdrom. Can somw kind soul steer me as to how to create a bootable cdrom so I can wipe the old cisk slick and proceed to install a new OS on my newly acquired computer system. I'm sorry I just don't have a clue. Thanks in advance. Eric

go by a new os or get a iso copy and burn it to a blank disk
