can't get to desktop

hello. my computer was shutdown by norton.. said needed to shutdown may have curpt disk run scandisk on restart. now it just keeps looping or restarting. can not get to desktop. it will go to the windows screen then norton go back comes up an gives eror message.. go back does not work. wont let me go back. tried safemode no luck. tried last known in f12 still nothing.. any help getting to my desk top thanks in advance

 

Are you pressing the spacebar when the GoBack screen appears?

Also, in addition to what Matacumbie is asking, during boot up with go back, a bar will travel in reverse, rather quickly. This is where you want to hit the space bar.
