Can't get to windows

Hi I am new to this forum and would really appreciate any help you can offer. I was watching an episode of The Tudors off of Mega Video, when I got a pop up from windows asking for permission to allow an unknown program, I did look at the name quickly but truly don't remember what it said it all happened so fast. anyway I allowed it thinking it had something to do with what I was watching as Id never used mega video before. Then all of a sudden a blue screen popped up with a ton of writing I didn't catch except for the dumping memory part. Then it appeared to reboot itself but never got past the blue screen with curser. I have an acer aspire 5920G.I can hit F2 and access setup but Im not knowledgeable enough to know how that might help me, but I follow instruction well. Please help me...Oh by the way I have a different hard drive installed so also not the original windows, but I do have the original hard drive still so if you think I should reinstall that I will if you tell me how. Phew sorry this is so long.

no I can't access safe mode either, but I solved the problem by reinstalling the original harddrive so now I'm just trying to catch up on all the updates as I haven't used this drive in 2yrs. Thank you for responding
