I just reloaded XP on a new hard drive, and the picture is not extended all the way across the screen. I am sure this is an easy fix, but how do I get the picture to extend all the way across the screen?

Thanks so much for the help.

Monitor settings, should be menue button on your monitor.

Then you may need to adj again after Video drivers are installed or after resolution changes

I don't have a monitor like that, I have a laptop. Sorry I left that part out.

    Thanks,

Right click a blank area of the Desktop > Properties > Settings tab >
Advanced button > Monitor tab > Screen refresh rate.

Try changing the Screen refresh rate until your display fills the screen.

Thanks for everyone's help. I just needed to change the resolution settings. I thought I had already tried this, but that was all that I needed to change. Thanks for everyone's help.
