I have an Acer Inspire 5050 laptop running Vista Home Edition that came with a 80 GB HD formatted to a C and D drive.

Yesterday I bought a Seagate 320 GB drive as an upgrade. I cloned the existing drive and installed the clone on the new drive. The new drive now shows the clone as exactly the same size it was on the original. The remainder of the disk space shows as unallocated space. My partitioning software will allow me to allocate any amount of space I like to the D drive. However, absolutely nothing I try will allow me to allocate space to the C drive.

Anyone know how to do this?
