cant install anything on xp

Hello I love this site!!! Recently my pc tell me to reinstall, installshield & I am unable to install new software from downloads or cd, what the problem? How do I fix, I am updated with microsofts updates! Losing it I cant do my work b/c of this issue PLEASE HELP

What would be the full error message thats thrown up?
and which OS it is?

Well try typing the word installshield into a search engine like msn or google. Thats usually a way to find it or look right here on good old mg. That should help you out.

sadly doing that will give you 705k entries on Google ( which even I or you would like to wade through ), which is why knowing what the exact error message was and OS used can narrow the field down alot, I could have posted my thinking of what could help of this http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108340 but it may not be the issue at all.

Ok sorry i thought maybe that can take you to the site where you can just reinstall the whole thing. Well we will see what seam says and go from there.
