Can't Install Java - Error 25099

Hello,

I also am not able to get java downloaded...
i have tried all suggestions below and still no luck.
any ideas?

Clearly, if you were following all the suggestions, then something on your system was preventing the complete uninstall of Java.

Try one more time as follows:

1. Open Task Manager and 'end process' on jqs.exe and make sure that is *disappears* from the list of processes. If it does *not* disappear, then go to:
Start > Run > services.msc and find 'Java Quick Starter' in the list, double click on it and under 'Service Status' click on 'stop' and check again in Task Manager that it has now disappeared.
2. Now go to Program Files > Java > JRE and delete the entire folder
3. Now go to Documents and Settings > *your user name* > Application Data > Sun > Java and delete the entire folder.
4. Now run 'CCleaner > Registry > Scan For Issues > at 100% click on 'Fix All Issues' and repeat that enough times until '0' issues are found.

Hi

What Windows version and service pack are you using?

Do you get any error messages when installing, if so what are they and in full please?

I would run JavaRa and allow it to remove all old versions of JAVA than then install the lastest version from HERE.

Did you start here?
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
When you click on windows, note it is a 10MB download so if you are on dialup, it will take a while to download.
You say it will not download. What happens?
