I have recently installed Windows XP, and Ive upgraded my RAM to 512MB to suit it.

While trying to download Windows Messenger, one of those "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" errors comes up every time I click yes to the Security Warning (The thing that says would you like to install and run blahblahblah. And you can click Always trust Blahblah in the future.).

I have tried this many times and it happens every time, but not if I dont agree to the security warning. Also, on the webpage, it gives instructions on how to say yes to the little yellow bar about activx near top of screen, but I havent been experiencing those lately, only security warnings. Could this be part of the problem.

Anyways, Im not sure what is wrong with it, and I have no clue how to go about trying to fix it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Geoffrey
