cant log in

    windows xp pro.1985-2001 ibm thinkpadt42 when i attempt to log in i get (the instruction at 0X37003689"referenced memory at "0x00000428"could not be read. When i try to use spysweeper or virus sweep it gets to a certain spot and then locks up.I would appreciate any help/thank you. Right now i am connecting thru pro log and works fine with other computers.I am also noticing program not starting when trying to open them also.
