Can't login from home machines

I cannot login to a web hosting site from either my laptop or home pc but can access it from the office machine.

When the SUBMIT button is clicked it keeps refreshing the login page and I can't get any further than that - the site technicians also seem unable to assist.

The site has not been accessed for a couple of months and, during this time, I have switched from dial-up access to broadband so I don't know if this could have created a problem as I was logging in from the home pc before (the laptop is new)

The home pc is running Windows 2000 with Spybot & Symantec Anti-virus enabled (nothing has changed other than regular Windows updates) and I am browsing with IE6. I haven't had this problem with other sites (incl. secure banking sites).

The laptop is running XP SP2 (office machine is also running XP SP2 with firewall disabled). I have disabled Norton Anti-Virus, deleted all cookies, tried loading IE7 beta2. Also, I cannot access the firewall via Control Panel but have stopped it in the services.

Sorry for the long mail, but would appreciate if anyone can help or shed some light.

Disable any popup blockers go into IE reset security to defaults and add it as a trusted site, maybe?

 

Thanks, but still no luck on either machine - can you suggest anything else 'cos it's driving me nuts?

 

Have run full scans with anti-spyware, anti-virus and found nothing. Anyone got any other suggestions? Please help

 

Having finally solved the problem, it may assist others to know that it was simply a problem with the proxy server address in the LAN settings on the home machines - why it would affect a wireless connection is beyond my limited technical knowledge !!
