Can't make Amazon link work

I'm trying to install a link to Amazon.co.uk onto my website.

I've downloaded the code from Amazon, and have pasted it into the HTML of my page - I'm using Frontpage for my web design.

No matter what I do, or where I put the Amazon code, it continues to display as code, as not as the Amazon logo.

Please can somebody suggest how to rectify this?

My website address is www.susiekellywritingservices.com, and the page concerned is the "Links" page.

    Hello

Is that a response? If so, what am I meant to do with it? Sorry, I'm a complete novice, I don't know why you've posted that reply. Can you explain?

    Thanks.

The original link you provided that you were having problems with here looks to me like some HTML with an error in.
Because of this error in some of the HTML the browser was ignoring that part and rendering the rest correctly. The result is that the errored code gets displayed in the code format and not displayed as you intended...

Bot has provided the correct form for the errored bit of HTML although he has also provided a large bulk of that HTML too...

This bit of HTML here from bots post is what you want.

    Code:

    Replace the following :

    Code:

with the segment I took from bots post above and it should work... How you do this in FrontPage I don't know - I have never used it, but if you wanted you could do a search/replace with a text editor like Notepad.. it would have the same effect...

Hope this brings you closer to getting it fixed. Bot did the hard work of finding the problem...

put a < infront of <iframe......and get rid of this <

    the line should read
and so on .......look at the line you'll see what i'm saying if not ..

Thanks to you both for your help. The problem is solved now - what Amazon didn't mention is that in Frontpage you must select Insert - web component - HTML, and then paste it in, not just paste the code into the existing HTML.

    Cheers.

    Susie
