Cant open any problems after superantispyware scan

I got a virus on my laptop and i believe it was a sfs.exe trojan file
There would be a Win 7 Virus scanner that popped up saying my computer had a virus infected and it would do a scan

I went through the tutorial on how to remove malware and i first installed and scanned with SUPERantispyware and it detected 7 files that were corrupted. After repairing it asked me to reboot and after rebooting i cant open any program such as internet explorer or google chrome. When trying to open the programs a screen pops up open with so i browsed to the folder and exe file internet explorer and when opening it nothing happens. I tried with itunes skype and its all the same

http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/3189/windowsrepair.gif Download Windows Repair by Tweaking.com and unzip the contents into a newly created folder on your desktop on the PC with the infection.

Open up this newly created folder and then open the "files" folder (...\windows repair v1.5.8\files)
From here, locate the fix_exe_hijack.inf file and then Right-mouse click it one time, then choose "Install".
Once you have done this, you should now be able to open applications again.

I get installation failed when trying to install fix_exe_hijack.inf

 

Interesting. I would like to screenshot of that but I suppose you aren't able to open mspaint to do that either. Did you try running it from a flash drive? You may want to try that if you have not already.

Try merging the following into the registry: FixNCR.reg
