I can no longer open links in IE6, ive been to tools, internet options, advanced and unchecked
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" should this have fixed it? or can someone throw me some advice on how to put it right.

    Thanks in advance

If you copy and paste a link into the address bar in IE will it work then?

    Try this:
    Start > Run > (type in) REGSVR32.EXE URLMON.DLL > Enter
    Start > Run > (type in) REGSVR32.EXE MSHTML.DLL > Enter

If the answer had been yes what would you have suggested, because my sister is having problems now.

Same thing I suggested to you.

I was just curious as to what functioned and what didn't, but I made the suggestion anyways without waiting for an answer.

Well, I realized that not only could I not open links but I could not play MP3 files from my hard drive! I think my problem was media player. I installed WinAmp and it seems to have fixed my problem. I think your problem is different though.
