Can't open Microsoft Sites

Hi, I know you've seen this problem before, as I've read several people having the same problem on this board. I can't open *.microsft.com or *.passport.com or *.msn.com.

I can't open them in IE, or Firefox, and Media center can't update my program guide.

There are no entries in my host file. I've reregistered a sundry list of dll's as indicated to other's having this problem.

Adaware, MS Spyware, Norton's online AV, EZtrust AV, and all of the programs listed in the "before you post" register clean, including FixVundo. There is nothing in the Hijack This log that I don't recognize and know the purpose of (I don't think.) ADSSPY incorrectly reports that I have no NTFS partitions.

www.microsft.com resolves correctly in nslookup, tracert will run as far as on my working computer, and the site will not open given an IP address instead of a name. This seems to have started about two weeks ago. There were files transferred from another computer with the w32.licum virus, but norton did not report it as resident in memory.

I'm at a complete loss, I've searched the whole internet(tm) and can't find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Got it, it was the MTU setting.
