Can't open "properties" on C drive

    Hey all,
    I can no longer open the properties tab when I right-click my computer and then the C drive.I am running Win2K.My computer will open but not the hard drive.The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I installed NIS 2005.Any thoughts?Thanks.

    Hello just thought I would help

    Boot in safe mode and see if that does it if so then nis2005 is the culprate.
    Uninstall it and if I were you I would try trendmicro IS or zonealarm its free and works great on my win2k system. But if you have to reinstall NIS with all programs shutdown lots of luck.
