Can't post quote into threads

Tried on several occasions to quote on peoples threads to just give them the link for the read and run me first and can't do it at alll sometimes so it seems intermitent !
Anyone know why ?

are you trying to post in the malware forums? only certain people have privileges for that forum.

Ah good call TSG, dont think I awake yet!

Rusty it has been mentioned to you previously that the Malware forum is different and only as TSG mentions authorised users can post.

While if the thread is in software or welcome center, it at times is easier to report the thread and ask for it to be moved to malware forum, as many users will read your post on the read me and post the logs in that thread, opposed to creating a new thread in malware, leaving the mods and admins to tidy up the old threads, we keep a tight and clean ship here

I wasn't trying to post in the thread all i was trying to do was post the person the link to the READ and RUN ME FIRST link in aid to help them, then they could of followed the instructions from then on in, from that paticular Malware expert, but now you've explained it seems i'm allowed to do it in software but not malware forums thanks ,
I won't give up though bcos one day you never know i'll keep :boxing on !
