    hi.

I have a problem, my dvd rom can't read windows cd. I want to reformat my computer and it doesn't boot everytime I'm trying to install a new version of windows.

I tried inserting other discs and it can read the others.

    Tnx.

did you try booting from the Windows CD? Is your BIOS boot order set to boot from the DVD first?

    Hi

    What version of Windows?

Is this Windows CD a copied one or original? (asking as one route to some Windows CD/DVDs is via MSDN/TechNet and those come in ISO format, which needs burning to CD/DVD, but at times if the burn process was too quick, then the disks dont like booting, so a slower burn is advisable)

Give this a go also HERE
