There are about 4 computers in my office and they are all networked under a single workgroup. Everything was fine until all of a sudden I couldn't connect to the networked documents folder. I checked and my computer was no longer connected to the network.

I am connected to the wireless network so I still get internet, but I can't seem to find the workgroup network since it's set as private. All the other computers are fine and can still access the shared files. If I put in the ip address of the shared documents folder I can access it through my browser, but it's a pain in the butt. I'd like to open it in windows explorer like I always have. I spent an hour trying to somehow find the network again, no luck. I tried manually changing the shortcut target path to the drive, and then again to the drive IP address, no luck.

Any ideas how I can rejoin my workgroup?

Do you know what the name\location of your shared drive is? In our office we have network drives, and what I did on my PC is just mapped the network drive under Computer. If you click on your computer, you can click the button at the top that says "Map Network Drive" and then it asks you for the path. So in my works case its "\\dewey\public" as dewey is the computer name and public is the shared folder. I find that to be the easiest way.
