Need the complete error message that you get. Is there anything showing in Admin Tools > Event Viewer? What Windows OS are you running? Have you tried to remove in Safe mode as Administrator? Here is how you enable Administrator in Windows Vista onwards:

    1. Click the Start button, and then type cmd in the search box. In the search results list, right-click cmd, and then click Run as Administrator.

    2. At the command prompt, type net user administrator /active:yes, and then press ENTER.
    3. Type net user administrator <Password>, and then press ENTER.

Note: Please replace the <Password> tag with your passwords which you want to set to administrator account.

Type exit, and then press ENTER. Log off the current user account.

After you do the above, then reboot, press F8 after the bios screen comes up, before it boots into Windows, and choose "Safe Mode". When Safe Mode boots, click on the Administrator account, then enter the password you created for it, then when you get to the Gui, click on OK, in the window that comes up, then try and uninstall Microsoft Office.

Usually you get the error, due to you do not have Elevated rights for your user, which has been a problem since Windows 2k.

Try this also before doing the above process, to see if it works. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/repair-or-remove-office-2010-HA010357402.aspx Also see http://social.technet.microsoft.com...nable-to-uninstall-microsoft-office-2010-beta

Again, you have to follow my instructions that I posted, in how to enable the Administrator account. Also what version of Windows are you using?

Without the two above as I asked in my first reply, we cannot go any further with this, until you follow my directions, and also cooperate with what I posted in post #2.

If you follow the instructions in post #2, we can go further with this. If you do not, I am finished at this point, and you are on your own. Do you want help or not?

Right click on My Computer, then on Properties.

Hopefully this reply is a little more helpful than some you've received. rolleyes
