can't see pics

when i open my pictures folder and im viewing under thumbnails i still can't see that pictures. it just shows the symbol in wich it's opening. how do i fix this!?!

 

What windows are you using?

 

2k. it all worked before...idk before what but it did

ok on the first one i did up until 11 then kinda got lost at 12..im looking over it but can't find what...

 

ok i did the second one and half of the thumbnails came back..now i just need help on the other half

 

Are the thumbnails your getting .jpeg?

When you say the other half, which ones are you talking about.

The two link's I gave you were about all I could find that might help. I'm not sure about the .gifs thumbnail, you will get other replies maybe from someone who has experienced and solved the same issue.

not sure if this will be of much help, but maybe try changing the program that opens that type of file. I had that problem once with XP (never used 2k before) where i couldnt see the thumbs, so i changed the "open with" from microsft picture it to picture and fax viewer. good luck!
