cant seem to make a vcd

i've posted about this before.
well, i just re-downloaded nero 6.
and i wanted to to put a few movies onto a vcd.
a longggg time ago i used to be able to do that.
now everytime i dl nero, it starts as if the burn process is workin then gives me the error of " disk is in use" (something like that)

i use deepburner( which a member from here gave me the link to) to burn my mp3's
and that works out fine.never any error msgs.
but nero... nero just doesn't like my computer or somethin

Is your Autoplay set to open another app, maybe DeepBurner, when you insert a blank CD? Right-click your CD-R drive and select Properties. Click the Autoplay tab. Open the drop-down menu and select blank CD. Below that, Click the button next to "select an action to perform" then go to the window below and select "take no action". Click the Apply button and then the OK button and try to burn a VCD. If that doesn't work, wait for someone smarter than me to give you better advice.

 

ok, i've done what you said, but still gettin the error.

it starts encoding,goes to 100% then pauses for a bit,then the error appears and my cd-r ejects blank

I read this because I have NERO but I don't have this problem (I try to read stuff because I figure problems are inevitable)

Do you have InCD enabled on that drive? Also, go to Task Manager and close all processes you don't need , one at a time, until the problem disappears. If you aren't sure about a process, ask.
