cant send e-mail

    im using windows xp .. im trying to send e-mail to someone on craigs list.. i keep geting the host "smtp" canot be found. how do i fix it thanks..

    You failed to mention what program or web service you use to send email.

    outlook exp. and i have com cast cable. i can recieve e-mail on my comcast internet.

    Sounds like you haven't correctly configured the outgoing (SMTP) server in Outlook Express, as there is no such server as 'smtp'. Are you able to send emails to other recipients OK? If not then log in to the comcast website where you will find help on server settings in Outlook Express and other email clients. Or maybe another comcast user can tell you the correct server name, usually in the form 'smtp.<isp name>.net
