Can't send with Windows Live Mail

    After working fine on my laptop for many months, suddenly Windows Live Mail won't send any messages. I get Error Message 554. All else works okay. I thought I might remove WLM and reinstall, but I can't see how to do this. I have WLM on my desktop computer, and it works as it should. Any help would be appreciated.

    Compare the mail server settings on both computers.

    In WLM | Options | Email accounts | Default account | Properties | tab Servers: compare the settings for Outgoing Mail Server.

    Thank you, pwillener. Your advice revealed the problem. It was a discrepency between computers in port numbers. I'm good to go now.
