Can't start DAP Premium 8.6 - Vista

Has it worked before OK and just started happening now?

Have you installed any new software before you noticed this happen? if so what, if a firewall check DAPs not being blocked.

Did you install SP1 for Vista? if so its quite possible that DAP is not SP1 compatible as yet as SP1 is not out for general public as yet.

Goto Control Panel > System Maintanence > Problems and Solutions and if you see an error for DAP double click it and does it say what caused the error? May also need to goto Event Viewer > Applications to see this error.

Possibles to try:

A. Uninstall and Reinstall

B. Are you logged on as admin? if not and even if logged on as admin Run the DAP shortcut as Admin, right click and choose Run as Administrator, if it works ok then oprn up the Shortcuts Properties and click Compatability tab, put a tick in Priviledge Level and Run this Program as an Administrator.
