can't uninstall pc tools...

hello there...I can't seem to uninstall pc tools fully. I am using revo uninstaller. It removed the programme I think, but not fully. It no longer appears on the start menu, nor the programes features menu in contrl panel. Nor when I run a search. It doen't find any thing. But it is in the c>prgrames files. menu and a grey icon still appears in the notification area. When I right click this, it gives me an options menu but when I select an option nothing happens. I've tried to delete the file in th programe files section but it says I need permission. Since I am the sole user of this pc I don't know what to do.... It doesn't give me the option to open the file as an administrator.
Any advice will be gratefully recieved.

 

there are probably still some remnants of the files and registry entries left behind,since i like to experiment with new and different programs myself ,it happens to me quite often,what i do is run Ccleaner in safe mode with only the advanced options unchecked in both admin & user domains,it should remove the obsolete entries still left behind.
