Cant use browsers to surf net, but i can use YM, bittorrent, limewire and others...

Hi guys!! I cant get on to the internet with my ie, firefox, safari, opera,etc....i have uninstalled and reinstalled them but nothing works..it seems like browsing does not work for me..but i can use other programs that can connect to the internet like messengers and bittorrent and limewire.

compaq presario c793tu laptop
win xp pro sp2
1gb ram,128mb video
windows firewall
norton antivirus 2008

i am connected to the internet through a wireless bridged connection from another laptop (this laptop) that is directly connected to the internet from the modem router..and i have these ip configuration:

Have you tried checking the Windows and or any other third party firewall on your computer just on the off chance that you are blocking those programs?

Totally overlooked that.

Mostly due to the fact that Limewire is against the IT Commandments. LOL
