Can't use Full Screen??

Hi

Been having this problem for a while now, I am sort of putting up with it! When I use youtube and other video platforms - I am unable to expand the vid to full screen. I'm currently using Win XP Pro, IE 8, and as far as I know my flash player is up to date.

When I do expand the media, audio is fine the video is black and often lines on the right-hand-side. If I use Media player offline to watch media etc, there is no issue of this discription.

Is there anything I need to install or get rid off, do I need to tweak settings of some sort?

This is a mystery!

Hey

I right-clicked on the video screen, selected settings, and disabled hardware accelleration. Hey presto! The videos can play on full screen.

Next problem however is that the video lags behind the audio!

So new problem I suppose......how to get the video and audio in sync.

Any ideas?

Anyhow....my details for the display adopter are:

SiS Mirage Greaphics
Date: 4/11/2007
Driver version: 6.14.10.3800

Went to update it, or see if it needed updated and hit a brick wall on SiS website. Step by step, I chose

1. Windows XP , steps 2 and 3 are confusing.....I should choose GPU graphic drivers?

Choices for GPU:
Xabre Series
SiS 315 series
SiS 300/305 series
Volari Z series

(There is a choice I think to identify this automatically but for some reason my computer wont complete the process)

Am I on the right path? & if so which series should I select?

Could my driver be up to date, its from 2007?
