I bought a new hard drive from ebay. It was sealed on arrival. It is a WDC WD2000BB-22GUA0. It is 200G. It can be seen in the Device Manager but not in explorer. Could it be too fast for my motherboard? I don't know any further specs, it came with no documentation or software...
    Please help.

dose it show up under disk management? if so you might have to format it and assign it a drive letter. go to Control Pannel>Administrative Tools> Computer Management then down 6'th from the bottm it should be there. should be Disk 1 if it is your second hard drive right click where it says that and u might have to create a volume

    the above sounds about right.

the disk right now is RAW, and before the OS can see/use it, it must be partitioned and formatted. once in disk managament (as described above) you can do the partitioning and formatting through windows. after than you will be able to see the drive in My Computer.
