Can't use Search in the Start Menu.

Hi.
I think this problem accured either when I got a spyware on my computer or when I ran CCleaner and tried to remove it.
At the same time I also had problem open links in IE from for example hotmail, but I don't know if those problems are connected.
I've installed FireFox now so this ain't a problem anymore.

Back to the this problem.
When i click on the Search Button in the Start Menu the computer begins to go slowly, the Start menu button freezes and nothing happens. Then after a while i can click at the start button again and it goes back to normal, but no search windows is being opened.

Except for the problems with IE I haven't discovered any more errors in windows that can be related to this problem.
Anyone who got any clues of what I can try to do?
