Hello, this is my first time posting on the forum. I am running windows XP with service pack 3. I can visit normal sites online, but cannot view a page that requires a username and password. If I use AOL, I get the error message "This program cannot display the webpage", if I go through Internet Explorer 7 I get " Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". This happens with logging into my accounts on MSN, Yahoo, Citi, etc....If anyone has tips on solving this issue, I would appreciate the help.

I'm not sure how AOL works, if it uses the settings from IE7 to work with pages. I would download firefox and see how it works. mozilla.com/firefox

If firefox does not work, try booting into safemode w/ networking (press F8 when the computer is starting). If the browsers work there, it may be a firewall or viruses causing you problems.
