can't watch videos

hello I am having bad issues with laptops:cry my new lenovo had pop spilled on it and died
then i bought a used one and that one had to be sent back to be fixed...

So here I am on my old one that after so long turns off and wont come back on for awhile
but it will stay on quite a while unless you want to watch a video or netflix then you are lucky to get 5 mnutes.....anything I can do to fix this?
its an hp pavillion with windows vista on it
Lenovo don't even come on still under warranty but they wanted 575.00 just to start looking at it. I really miss my movies

inspecting your laptop temperatures even go to
Start - Run msconfig - Startup tab - disable all - Apply - ok .
Windows is asking you about restart - do it
what is the free space of your hdd ? :wave
